Washed Ashore’s beach clean ups and volunteer workshops are integral to our mission. We need your help to create and maintain our giant marine sculptures that educate the world about plastic pollution. Together we can make a big difference!

Do you work with a local group looking to make a difference? Book a Washed Ashore workshop for your group to come to our space. Together, we will make art pieces that contribute to our fleet of sculptures that travel North America educating others about plastic pollution.

What to Expect at a WA Workshop:
Washed Ashore staff will provide activities for volunteers of all ages and ability levels to work on some of our ongoing projects.
Everyone is welcome. No prior experience necessary!
Please wear closed-toed shoes while on the premises.
We will provide water or coffee, feel free to bring a snack!

Workshop Assistant
Create the piecework for our sculptures in our Volunteer Workshop.
Tour Guide
Work directly with our visitors to educate about the issue of marine debris and the Washed Ashore Project.
Retail Associate
Provide fast and friendly service to customers in our Eco-Shift Market. Help continue educating about the issue of single-use plastics.
Debris Processing
Have fun cleaning, sorting, and preparing our art supplies at Art 101.
Our Volunteers
From cleaning miles of beaches, to washing debris, drilling holes, cutting wires and stitching plastics together, we could not create our giant sculptures without the thousands of hours donated annually.
